New training: Ammonia leak drill
This month we have organized an ammonia leak drill at our facilities , training that allows us to continue perfecting our work prevention and food safety protocols.
The place selected for the test was the freezing silo . The colleagues, using the corresponding PPE, had to go up to the top floor of the silo to be able to control the leak.
Specifically, a team of two people led by Pablo Cascales, responsible for the thermal and fluid part of the group, intervened . The total duration of the drill was ten minutes from the notification of the leak to its shutdown, and during the drill it was not necessary to evacuate the plant.
From our Ingelor and PRL team we celebrate the success of this drill, one more step towards excellence that allows us to improve all our processes and guarantee excellence in our meats and the well-being of workers and the environment.
